Reading / Language Arts
We focus on reading at all different levels with our “Little first reader” leveled reading books. Here at the Learning Mantra, we include spelling, phonics, reading comprehension, grammar, public speaking and overall topics covered in language arts from pre-k to 6th grade.
Critical Thinking
To be able to take information given to us and be able to analyze it in order to form a judgement or opinion is defined as Critical Thinking. We guide our students to think outside the box whether it be solving a math problem or trying to answer reading questions.
Handwriting
Handwriting is one of the most important concepts to address at a very early age to build writing skills in students. We utilize handwriting without tears workbooks to build our little writers into creative writers. We focus both on print writing and cursive writing through the different grade levels.
School Projects / Homework help
Bring it on! We would love to work with your kiddos on their school projects and make it a fun learning experience in the process.
Essay Writing
We want all our students to be good writers in order for them to gain excellence in writing all sorts of essays and other forms of writing. Writing is another form of expression to convey knowledge. Our services focus on steps of writing in understanding the questions asked, how to research on the topic, plan and structure the paper.
